Too Concrete

As the dawns’ rays set on my balcony’s eyes…
I gaze upon a 6 o’clock ticking sound.
It’s not just the night, it’s about the visions that come along.
It’s that time of the 24 hours where all the cheers, and heys, and nods that all is splendid,
Walk back into the room with heavy concrete thoughts
Of somber notes, distant looks, and tearful smiles.
And so sunset after sunrise, like an unstoppable fast forwarded movie,
Those heavy arms let go of what was once a leap of faith,
And are left wavering onto emptiness and lost memories.
A stolen 30 min of sleep to abruptly wake up…
I look around, searching for your thought…
I saw you walking out of my dreams;
Leaving magic sitting on an empty bench.  Waiting and picturing…
An everlasting sunrise, which insignia will dazzle;
Breaking silence into pieces of delicate memories and drizzles of hopes.
Sleep, for now, remains…alien.
