Our trip to LA was spectacular! We all have a small dream or wish that we’d like to accomplish… I mostly call them, plans. Nothing is unachievable, especially if we have the will to fight for it. No matter how long the fight, with each step, we’re a bit closer. You might realize they’re not worth and run the opposition direction, or realize them. Our plan, for the past few months, was to visit LA.
We all have this fascination with TV, books, the life we see and the life that we’d like to have. What if we literally, took a walk in our movies? We all realize that they’re filmed, that the lives that we sometimes dive so deeply in are fictional and that the characters that we so blindly admire are all “written”… But if you could for one minute, indulge your fantasy and surround yourself with the books you’ve read and the stories you’ve watched… How would you feel?
How would you feel when your reality becomes a Transformer action day, where robots are your vehicle and your speed is beyond unacceptable. Want better? What if you’re transformed into a “Minion”? Yes the actual character of Despicable Me. Hollywood studios provide an exact replica of a few minutes into their blogbuster movies. It’s beyond fascinating… the special effects, the engineering behind it and the human effect of it all guarantee one memorable ride!
The fascination does not only reside in the actors, celebrities or their Bling Ring… it is in the actual realization of it all… the “making of”, the city that harbors it and the people who work in it. Taking a walk in Hollywood, from the Boulevard to the real-live studios: breathtaking. We walked around town, went to its hills, signs, outskirts and Los Angeles attractions.
Be it LA or any city, there is so much beauty in discovering new places, in absorbing the details that build it up and the traits that characterize it. LA is such a rich city to see with places to discover. We spent a few minutes in the observatory, seriously observing the Hollywood sign, the skyrocketing buildings in downtown LA, the beautiful vibe in Santa Monica, the brandy sign in Rodeo Drive and beautiful houses in Beverly Hills. Blessed with such an enviable weather, it’s a constant vacation mode – relaxing city.
Everytime we visit a place, it’s like discovering a new part of ourself, adding a new color to our life… whether we like our destination or not, it’s very much like a relationship: you always end up learning something new and LA brightens your day like no one else!
